What Talent Navigator is, what it is not, and the boundaries of relying on it.
A screening tool, not legal advice
Talent Navigator helps you compare J-1 categories and prepare a sponsor-ready packet. It is not legal or immigration advice, it is not a guarantee of sponsorship, and it does not replace review by a State Department–designated sponsor. Final eligibility is determined by the selected sponsor.
How results are produced
Category signals (green, yellow, red, and sponsor-review) are produced by a deterministic rules engine from the facts you enter. AI features that read a website, résumé, or duties description are advisory only and never decide eligibility. Because results depend on the facts you provide, they are only as accurate as those facts.
Acceptable use
Use Talent Navigator for genuine J-1 host and candidate screening. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, submit information you are not authorized to share, or rely on it as a substitute for professional advice.
No warranty
The tool is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Talent Navigator and its operators are not liable for decisions made in reliance on its output; the sponsor’s determination governs.
