Privacy
What Talent Navigator collects, how it is used, and the consent that gates every handoff.
What we collect
Talent Navigator collects only what you enter and what it needs to run a screening:
- Company facts you provide — name, website, industry, R&D focus, headcount, location, and the presence (not the number) of an EIN.
- Position and candidate facts you enter or paste — duties, program length, degree, experience, citizenship, and similar fields used by the rules engine.
- Evaluation results and coaching produced from those facts.
- Contact information when you create an account (a work email for our passwordless sign-in).
- Basic technical context — for example, when you file feedback, we capture your browser and screen size to help us reproduce the issue.
How we use it
Your information is used to run the eligibility screening, show and explain your results, and let you refine the facts. AI assistance (reading a website, résumé, or duties description) is advisory only — you review and edit every proposed value, and the deterministic rules engine, not the AI, decides the result. You can always enter facts manually instead of using AI assistance.
Sharing is consent-gated
Nothing about your evaluation is sent to a sponsor until you explicitly consent on the “Send to a sponsor” screen. When you consent, we build a packet containing the facts, results, and contact information shown to you there, and deliver it only to the single sponsor you choose. We do not share anything else, and we do not broadcast your packet to other sponsors.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention and your choices
You can review and edit your saved facts at any time while signed in. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to ask what we hold about you, contact us using the address below.
